Spotty showers, some storms possible today

Today offers a chance for spotty showers and thunderstorms across North Texas. While it won’t rain everywhere, many locations will see these pop-up rain clouds. Some of the heavier cells could produce some brief downpours and lightning, but severe weather is not expected.

A dry forecast returns Wednesday, along with hotter weather. The 90s will set in by the end of the work week and for the weekend.
