Hot and mostly dry while uncertainty looms over Cristobal

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — The latest track on Tropical Storm Cristobal shows the cone edging into the upper Texas coastal area late this weekend.

The storm should stay over Mexico through Friday night then move north through the Gulf this weekend. The track into and beyond this weekend makes Louisiana the primary target for landfall, but Texans should continue to stay weather aware for any potential forecast changes.

We’re expecting less storms and more heat through Saturday. The sea breeze may spark a shower or two during the late afternoon hours but most areas will stay dry. Temps will soar into the low and possibly middle 90s with the added sunshine.
