Dallas Fire-Rescue recovers body from Lake Ray Hubbard

Dallas Fire-Rescue crews pulled a body from Lake Ray Hubbard on Friday afternoon.

Someone reported finding the body on the western side of the lake, near the Bush Turnpike, about 12:30 p.m., department spokesman Jason Evans said.

The body, which was caught on debris, was recovered a short time later.

The Dallas County medical examiner’s office will identify the person and determine their cause of death.
