Man faces murder charge in 2018 shooting in southeast Oak Cliff, Dallas police say

A 26-year-old suspect in a fatal 2018 shooting in southeast Oak Cliff has turned himself in to authorities.

William Wesley faces a murder charge in the death of 26-year-old Earl Williams, Dallas police said Tuesday.

Williams was found dead early Nov. 19, 2018, in the 6200 block of Concerto Lane. The Dallas County medical examiner’s office said he died from a gunshot wound.

Wesley turned himself in to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, police said. His bail is set at $500,000.

Police didn’t provide information about when or how they identified Wesley as a suspect or details about what led to the shooting.
