Windy and warmer start to the week

After a cloudy and damp start to Sunday, skies cleared out by afternoon ushering in much lower humidity. As a result it will be considerably cooler overnight. But that won’t last long.

Sunshine and a gusty west wind will warm us to near 80 by Monday afternoon. And the warm-up will continue Tuesday, in spite of increasing clouds.

Another strong system will bring showers and thunderstorms to North Texas beginning late Tuesday evening or Tuesday night. Some may become strong with hail and gusty winds. That rain should end around sunrise on Wednesday morning.
