29-year-old man fatally shot in Stemmons Corridor, Dallas police say

A 29-year-old man was fatally shot Saturday night at an event hall in the Stemmons Corridor, Dallas police say.

Officers were called about 11:30 p.m. to the 7700 block of Sovereign Row, near West Mockingbird Lane and I-35E, police said.

Two males shot at Freddie Sanders during a disturbance among multiple people and fled in a vehicle, investigators said.

No further information about the vehicle or its occupants was released.

Sanders was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

No one had been taken into custody, police said.
