Dry and warm Thursday, but storms Friday

A cold front moved across North Texas Wednesday, triggering some thunderstorms in East Texas. In the wake of the front, tonight will be clear with diminishing winds. Thursday will be dry and warm with highs in the 80s.

It looks to stay dry until Friday when a chance of afternoon or evening thunderstorms returns. Some severe weather is possible so stay weather aware.

The weekend will be dry and pleasant with highs in the 70s Saturday and 80s Sunday.
