Severe storms east of DFW

A cold front eased through DFW early Sunday afternoon. That ended the severe weather threat locally. But storms have developed just south and east of Dallas, and some of these will become severe as they advance across east Texas late this afternoon and evening. Large hail is the biggest threat, but some damaging wind gusts are also possible.

Skies will clear across North Texas and temperatures will fall into the 50s overnight. But clouds will increase again by Monday morning
