Super steamy with a few downpours through Friday

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Widespread rains have diminished for now as a front washes out over the area. The Gulf breeze could still trigger a few downpours Wednesday afternoon, but coverage will be much less than we’ve seen in recent days.

Clouds will be mixed in with steamy sunshine pushing feels like temperatures over the century mark during the afternoon. The chance for any cooling downpours will remain low through the weekend at 20-30%.

I Can we expect anymore loud storms this week?

Each day this week, the sea breeze will interact with the moisture we have in place to give us scattered, mainly afternoon thunderstorms. The rain may briefly be heavy and you’ll need to watch out for lightning.

Any relief from the cool front?
After bringing slightly less humid conditions to our northern counties, the front will lift back to the north keeping us very hot and humid this week.
