Woman killed in apparent jump from overpass onto LBJ Freeway, Dallas police say

A woman was killed early Saturday when she plunged from an overpass in far northeast Dallas and was hit by several vehicles, Dallas police said.

Shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday, the department said, police were notified of a woman’s body in the westbound lanes of LBJ Freeway, below an overpass leading to TI Boulevard.

Police said it appeared that the woman had jumped from the overpass. Her identity hadn’t been released as of Saturday morning.

The incident drew numerous police units to the scene.
