A Dallas teenager has died after a weekend shooting in Far East Dallas.
Police were called just before 4 a.m. Saturday to an apartment parking lot in the 8800 block of Ferguson Road, near Lakeland Drive, where they found two men who had been shot.
One of the men was hospitalized in critical condition and later died from his injuries. Police identified him as 17-year-old Kemuel Smith, who lived at that apartment complex.
The second wounded man was taken to a hospital and was stable. His name was not released.
Police have not announced any arrests in connection with the shooting and have not said what led up to it.
