Man, woman killed in shooting at apartment complex in Red Bird area, Dallas police say

A man and woman were killed Thursday afternoon in a shooting at an apartment complex in the Red Bird area.

Officers got a call about a shooting about 4 p.m. in the 3800 block of Gannon Lane, near U.S. Highway 67 and Interstate 20, Dallas police said.

The man was taken to a hospital, where he later died, and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. They have been identified as Kendarius Jackson, 19, and Partisha Crosby, 48.

The motive and the events leading up to the shooting are still being investigated, police said, and no arrests have been made.
