A man was found fatally shot Wednesday evening at an apartment complex in far northeast Dallas, police say.
Police got a call about a shooting just before 6:30 p.m. at the Vue on Forest Apartments at 9750 Forest Lane, near Audelia Road and Interstate 635.
When officers arrived, they found a man lying near the sidewalk in front of the complex with multiple gunshot wounds. The man, identified as 23-year-old Jamarian Turner, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information about the shooting was made available. Police said the motive and events leading up to the shooting are still being investigated.
