Tropical Storm Headed Towards Texas

After a warm and dry weekend, we will be seeing some changes in the coming days. We will start to notice a bit more humidity by Monday as tropical moisture lifts northward from the Gulf of Mexico.

A few showers will be possible Monday through Thursday in North Texas. But the rain chances will be much higher in south and east Texas, as newly formed Tropical Storm Nicholas heads towards the Texas coast. It will probably move onshore along the middle Texas coast around Rockport or Aransas Pass by Tuesday.

Flash flooding will be likely in coastal Texas. But Dallas-Fort Worth will probably see no more than a quarter to a half-inch of rain all week.
