Man gunned down in Jack in the Box drive-through in Far East Dallas, police say

A man was fatally shot early Oct. 31 while he waited in the drive-through line at a Jack in the Box in Far East Dallas, police say.

The gunman has not been caught.

Officers who were called about 1:15 a.m. to the restaurant at 5757 North Jim Miller Road, near Interstate 30, found the victim in his car on an adjacent street.

Police said the man died at 2700 Highland Road while he was trying to drive away from the restaurant. Police identified him as Marvin White

Police described the man who shot him as Black, about 20 years old, with a slim build and short Afro-styled hair. He was the passenger in a late-model dark gray four-door Nissan, possibly an Altima, with dark tinted windows.
