2 teens arrested in connection with fatal shooting of 22-year-old in Far East Dallas

Two teenagers face murder charges in connection with the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man Friday afternoon in Far East Dallas.

Officers were dispatched about 4:20 p.m. to the 1700 block of Barnes Bridge Road, near Garland Road, where they found a man lying on the ground who had multiple gunshot wounds.

The man, identified as 22-year-old Isiah Thompson, was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead, police said.

Police arrested Geovani Arreguin, 19, and Luis Angel Martinez, 17, in connection with the shooting. Each faces one count of murder.

Bail had not been set for either of the suspects Saturday evening, and it is unclear whether they have attorneys.
