Authorities said a police SWAT team entered the apartment. The suspect was not found.

Original story:

A man barricaded himself in an Old East Dallas apartment Sunday after shooting another man during an argument, police said.

The shooting happened around 4:15 p.m. at North Fitzhugh and Gaston avenues, Dallas police said. The suspect and the victim, neither of whom were immediately identified, got into an argument that ended in a shooting.

The man who was shot was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect ran to a nearby apartment and barricaded himself, authorities said.
