One killed, two injured in South Dallas drive-by shooting

One person was killed and two others were injured in a shooting about 2 a.m. in South Dallas, police said.

Dallas police responded to the scene in the 3200 block of Jerome Street where they found two men and one woman shot. The three victims were taken to a local hospital, Dallas police said.

One of the men, age 36, was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said. Authorities later identified him as Carlos Galindo.

The woman was in serious condition and the other man was in stable condition as of about 11 a.m., police said.

Police on scene said no one was immediately arrested. A public information officer said the investigation remained ongoing.
