A 41-year-old man was fatally shot early Saturday in South Dallas, police said.
Officers were called about 2:20 a.m. to a strip mall in the 4800 block of Military Parkway, near Dolphin Road, where they found the man wounded.
The man, who was identified as Vernon Rivers, was taken to a hospital and died.
No additional information about the slaying was immediately available.
