Collin County deputies find man’s body in Lavon Lake

A man’s body was found in Lavon Lake early Saturday, and authorities said they do not suspect foul play.

About 4:40 a.m., Collin County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a body in the lake near Lavon Beach Estates.

The sheriff’s office did not release the man’s identity, saying that his next of kin had not yet been notified.

The sheriff’s office said the medical examiner’s office is investigating the man’s cause of death, but added that authorities do not suspect foul play.
