North Texas to have a mid-week cold front

Despite a hot start to the week, there’s hope for a bit of a cool down later in the week. But before that can happen, Tuesday will be hot and dry with highs of 100 to 103.

A summertime cold front arrives Wednesday with a chance of storms and for some, a drop in temperatures. A more noticeable bit of heat relief will come Thursday with highs back in the lower 90s and a chance of a storm or two.

We’ll heat back up for the weekend before a more substantial pattern change next week. Widespread rain is possible with highs well below normal early next week. Stay tuned!
