Hope you like rain, as precipitation floods North Texas forecast

An unsettled weather pattern will bring a good chance of rain through Thursday.

Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible over the next few days. Severe weather is not expected, but there could be a few brief downpours and occasional lightning.

Rain totals won’t be overly impressive, generally around 0.25″ to 0.50,” with some isolated higher totals over the next few days.

A mostly cloudy sky will help hold the afternoon high down with most spots topping out in the upper 80s or lower 90s.

Low rain chances will continue through the Labor Day weekend, but coverage will be spotty and a wash out is not expected. Otherwise expect warm and humid weather with a mix of clouds and sun.
