Cool mornings for North Texas this week, but highs are headed higher

A welcome cold front moved through North Texas Sunday morning, bringing a north breeze and a drop in temperature. It should be great weather for Cowboys tailgating with lower humidity and highs only in the lower to middle 80s.

This next week will start off cool, featuring pleasant mornings Monday and Tuesday with low temperatures in the 60s in DFW, and falling to the 50s in many outlying areas. But warmer temperatures will return for the rest of the week, with 90s back in the forecast, and no sign of rain for the next week or longer.
