Man fatally shot at Arlington restaurant parking lot, police say

A man was fatally shot Monday afternoon in a restaurant parking lot in Arlington, police said.

Around 4:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of West Division Street, where someone reported that a shooting occurred, police said.

Officers found a person, described as a man in his 30s, lying on the ground with a gunshot wound, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the location.

The department said investigators believe that the incident was “domestic in nature,” according to a news release Monday evening. Police are still investigating the shooting, according to the release.

No arrests have been made in connetion with the shooting.
