28-year-old dead in east Oak Cliff shooting, Dallas police say

Dallas police are searching for the shooter in a slaying that occurred Friday morning in east Oak Cliff.

Officers responded to the 3300 block of Mundy Drive, near East Kiest Boulevard and Sunnyvale Street, about 8:40 a.m., where they found a 28-year-old man wounded. The victim, identified by police as Ernest Taylor, was pronounced dead at the scene.
