Dallas: Renowned Dallas physician, pakistani American Dr. Sobia Taimoor, who has served the community through various platforms, was recently honored by the Dallas Police Department Office of Community Affairs at the AT&T Performing Arts Center in celebration of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. She was invited to the Center to introduce her magnificent calligraphy and display her artworks to contribute to Asian culture during this month-long celebration. Through a cultural show that showcased the diverse cultures in the community, Dr. Sobia Taimoor tamoushowcased her Islamic calligraphy art.

For Dr. Sobia, the police department provided a special space to display her artwork at the most central location next to the AT&T Stadium Center. This recognition was given in appreciation of her noble cause and vision. In addition, she was invited to introduce her calligraphy for charity and display her artwork at the event, which was a great honor.

Dr. Sobia Taimoor is playing an important role in bringing people closer together from different faiths and spreading the message of peace among them. She shared that she did the calligraphy in the mosque of the Central Islamic Center of Ohio, and Alhamdulillah, it is still there. People still remember her artwork while praying and call her saying that they miss her when they read Naamaz The artist’s of Dr. Sobia Taimoor efforts to promote peace and understanding between different faiths are truly inspiring and an excellent example of how art can bring people together.
