Ground stop lifted at Hobby Airport after AC outage at traffic control tower, FAA says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Officials say they are experiencing an AC outage at the air traffic control tower, which led to a brief ground stop at Hobby Airport Saturday night.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, a ground stop was issued at the airport and a Houston arrival delay advisory as a result. Those have since been canceled.

Hobby reportedly hit a record 100 degrees Saturday and stayed at 100 for several hours.
