More dangerous heat

Another scorcher is in store for North Texas today. Today’s expected high of 106 will be enough to break the record of 105 set back in 1948. (This is coming after Sunday’s record high of 109).

An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect for North Texas into Monday evening.

The high heat continues into the week with sunny and dry weather expected. High temperatures will range from 103 to 107-degrees. Also, the wildfire threat remains elevated across North Texas.
