4 people, including 1-year-old, dead after shooting Sunday, Dallas police say

Police say a shooting in the Rylie neighborhood of Dallas left five injured, four fatally, Sunday afternoon.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to a shooting in the 9700 block of Royce Drive, according to a Dallas police release. A 1 year old was killed and the three others killed were adults, according to police.

A 15-year-old girl who was among those injured in the shooting was believed to be in “stable condition,” according to the release.

Jason Evans, a spokesman for Dallas Fire-Rescue said the department was called to the location in response to a gunshot wound call and added that two people were transported to hospitals from the location.

“At this time, this is believed to be an isolated incident and there is not threat to the public,” the police release stated.
