North Texas rings in 2024 with cooler temperatures and rain chances this week

Thanks to a cold front, expect a cold start to your New Year’s Day with lows into the upper-20s to mid-30s. Temperatures on Monday afternoon will slowly climb into the upper-40s to lower-50s with sunshine. The average high at this time of year is 56.

Highs will remain in the 50s for the week ahead. A series of disturbances will bring rain chances into North Texas on Tuesday, Friday and next Monday.
