A Spring Valley chiropractor, operating without a license, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for sexually assaulting children, according to authorities

A Spring Valley chiropractor, operating without a license, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for sexually assaulting children almost a decade ago, according to Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg.

Stuart Fraser White, 66, was found guilty of super-aggravated sexual assault of a child under six years old after a 14-day jury trial that concluded in December. White, who was not licensed in Texas, worked as a chiropractor. The jury determined that he had abused a 5-year-old female relative at his residence in Spring Valley.

White’s arrest in 2014 followed disclosures of abuse by the child. The trial revealed evidence of multiple incidents and additional victims prior to the disclosure.

Facing the possibility of life in prison without parole, White chose to have his sentence decided by a judge, who ruled that he would remain incarcerated until the age of 91.

Assistant District Attorney Denis Nichols, overseeing the DA’s Crime Against Children Division, prosecuted the case.

“The legislature gave this type of crime such a high minimum because they felt it was a very serious offense that deserved a strict punishment,” Nichols commented.

Harris County DA Kim Ogg emphasized the importance of seeking justice for vulnerable victims, stating, “Our children are the most vulnerable victims in our community, and when they are hurt or abused, especially by someone they should be able to trust, it is our duty to seek justice for them.” She also highlighted a law mandating that convicted child molesters who abuse young children serve a minimum of 25 years in prison, day for day.
