Inflation has undoubtedly impacted the national economy, but certain cities are experiencing its effects more intensely, particularly Houston.
Based on a recent study conducted by personal finance experts at WalletHub, Houston, The Woodlands, and Sugar Land have been ranked as having the seventh highest inflation rate in the United States.
The study analyzed data from 23 of America’s largest metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs) using Consumer Price Index information to track inflation patterns over two specific timeframes: the previous month (November) and the past year.
