Dallas Police are currently investigating a shooting incident on Westmoreland Road that resulted in the death of a man

An investigation into a homicide is underway following the fatal shooting of a man in Dallas late Saturday night.

The Dallas Police Department responded to a call around 11:50 p.m. regarding a shooting incident in the 2900 block of Westmoreland Road.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Dallas Police investigators concluded that an unidentified individual shot the man.

The victim’s identity has not been disclosed, and the police department has not provided any information regarding the suspect’s description.
