The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a search for a woman suspected of fatally shooting a relative in a neighborhood in North Harris County

A search is underway following a fatal shooting in an apparent domestic disturbance involving two women in north Harris County.

The incident occurred in the 22200 block of Doubletree Park Drive, near Dekaney High School and Booker Elementary School.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the two women engaged in an altercation, resulting in one shooting the other before fleeing the scene.

Deputies responded to find the victim with a gunshot wound, and she later succumbed to her injuries.

The alleged shooter, a woman in her 20s wearing a blue bra and black shorts, remains at large.

Authorities are investigating the incident, interviewing witnesses, and seeking information on the suspect’s whereabouts.
