Ejected motorcyclist dies in Arlington crash after speeding, colliding with car

Last week, a collision between a motorcycle and a car in an Arlington neighborhood resulted in the death of a man. The fatal incident occurred on Thursday, February 1, around 10:43 p.m. in the 100 block of E. Mitchell Street.

According to the Arlington Police Department, a 31-year-old man was traveling eastbound along Mitchell Street at a high speed when he crossed the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic. Investigators determined that after crossing the lines, the motorcyclist collided with a 2006 Toyota Camry traveling westbound, causing him to be ejected from his bike.
