One North Texas restaurant makes Yelp’s ‘Top 100 Places to Eat in the US’ for 2024

Texas is renowned for its diverse culinary landscape, offering a fusion of Southern comfort foods, Tex-Mex delights, and international flavors influenced by various cultures.

Adding to the excitement for food enthusiasts in North Texas, a local restaurant has secured a coveted spot on Yelp’s prestigious “Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S.” list for 2024.

Mr Max Izakaya Restaurant in Irving clinched the No. 72 position on Yelp’s nationwide rankings. Known as an “OG spot,” Mr Max has been serving the most authentic Japanese cuisine in the DFW area for over 30 years, according to Yelp reviewers.

Certified by the Japan External Trade Organization for its organic Japanese cuisine and beverages, Mr Max boasts a stellar 4.6/5 star rating on Yelp. It is celebrated for its fresh sushi, karaage chicken, ramen, and sashimi.
