In recognition of Black History Month 2024, a recent report compiled by Black employees at Apartment List, an online rental marketplace, has designated Houston as the fourth-best U.S. city for Black professionals.
The evaluation, conducted by Apartment List, encompassed 76 cities and focused on four key categories: community and representation, economic opportunity, housing opportunity, and business environment.
Houston secured a score of 63.01 out of a total of 100 points, positioning it as the second-highest-ranked city in Texas for Black professionals, trailing behind San Antonio, which claimed the third spot in the rankings.
