Emergency responders in Tarrant County were called to the scene of a significant car accident on Monday afternoon, where two individuals required extrication from their vehicle after colliding with a sign at a convenience store.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Rufe Snow and Hightower Drives, specifically at a 7-Eleven store. Upon arrival, officials discovered that the car had crashed into the store’s sign, leaving the occupants trapped inside.
Firefighters from Watauga, North Richland Hills, and Haltom City collaborated to extricate the individuals from the vehicle. Both victims sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
