Boy, 16, gunned down in Dallas shooting on Southern Oaks Boulevard

Dallas Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation following the fatal shooting of a teenage boy in a Dallas neighborhood on Friday night.

According to authorities, officers received a report around 8:50 p.m. regarding a shooting in the 3300 block of Southern Oaks Boulevard.

Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement discovered a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound. He was swiftly transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The identity of the victim remains undisclosed due to his age. The police department has not disclosed any information regarding the suspect’s description or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
