H-E-B announces when its first Fort Worth store will open

H-E-B, the Texas-based grocer, has announced the opening of their first store in Fort Worth early next month, along with plans to commence construction on a new location in Prosper.

The Alliance store, situated at 3451 Heritage Trace Parkway, is scheduled to open its doors on Wednesday, April 10th. Additionally, ground-breaking for the Prosper store is set to take place on Tuesday, April 2nd.

The upcoming Prosper location will be situated on the southeast corner of Frontier Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway, with an anticipated opening slated for 2025.

Marking the fifth H-E-B store in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the Alliance store represents the grocer’s debut in Tarrant County. H-E-B has previously established grocery outlets in Frisco, Plano, McKinney, and Allen, spanning Collin and Denton counties. Furthermore, a store currently undergoing construction in Mansfield is on track to open later this summer, serving as the second Tarrant County location.

Beyond these developments, H-E-B already operates several North Texas locations in Corsicana, Hudson Oaks, Burleson, Ennis, Waxahachie, Cleburne, and Granbury.
