Police nab three men connected to organized ATM burglary ring in Plano

Detectives from the Plano Police Department have announced the apprehension of multiple suspects believed to be involved in a series of ATM burglaries across the city. Marcel Anthony Bechet, Gabriel Diaz-Columna, and Cornelius D. Washington have been arrested and face felony theft charges in connection with these incidents.

According to authorities, Bechet, Diaz-Columna, and Washington allegedly operated as an organized group of thieves, utilizing stolen trucks to target ATMs and conceal their identities.

On Wednesday, April 24, the suspects reportedly targeted a Bank of Texas location in the 400 block of Coit Road, arriving at the scene in a stolen truck. Upon the arrival of detectives and patrol officers, the men attempted to flee but were apprehended at the location by law enforcement.

Following their arrest, the stolen truck was recovered and returned to the reporting agency.
