Apparent group argument leads to shooting at Fort Worth apartment complex

Following a verbal altercation at an apartment complex in Fort Worth, a shooting occurred Saturday night, resulting in one person being hospitalized.

The Fort Worth Police Department responded to a call at approximately 10:09 p.m. regarding a shooting in the 8900 block of Crosstie Circle.

Upon arrival at The Cassidy Apartments, officers discovered an individual with a gunshot wound. The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital and is anticipated to recover from their injuries.

According to investigators, a dispute involving five to ten individuals escalated, culminating in one person brandishing a firearm and shooting the victim.

Details regarding the description of the suspected shooter have not been disclosed by the police department.
