DFW International Airport parking and toll rates to increase Wednesday

Effective Wednesday, Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) will implement increased parking fees and roadway tolls as part of its ongoing efforts to accommodate anticipated growth and fund necessary infrastructure upgrades.

As the world’s third busiest airport, DFW requires significant investments to sustain its operations and meet future demands. With over $500 million allocated for roadway and parking enhancements in the coming years, the airport aims to modernize its facilities and improve accessibility.

This latest adjustment marks the third fee increase since 2017, reflecting the escalating costs associated with airport maintenance and expansion projects.

Notably, terminal and valet parking rates will each rise by $5, while the total fee for driving through the airport will increase from $6 to $9. However, the charges for picking up or dropping off passengers will remain unchanged, maintaining the existing rate of $2 for vehicles spending between eight and 30 minutes on airport grounds.

DFW Airport’s planned upgrades include the International Parkway project, which involves the modernization of access routes to various terminals through the implementation of contemporary right-hand exit bridges. Additionally, the reconstruction and renovation of Terminal C’s parking structures and associated roadways are also part of the initiative.

In parallel, American Airlines is advancing its Terminal F construction project at DFW, slated for completion by 2026. Terminal F will serve as the airport’s sixth terminal, contributing further to its operational capacity and enhancing the overall passenger experience.
