Carroll High School, Carroll Senior High School closed Wednesday due to ‘potential threat’

Carroll High School and Carroll Senior High School will remain closed on Wednesday due to a reported threat.

Carroll ISD officials stated that the school district received an anonymous report of a potential threat on Tuesday evening.

According to Southlake police, the report referenced a message found on a bathroom stall door, mentioning the STARR test and a possible school shooting on May 1. However, the message did not specify a target or provide further details.

In response, both CHS and CSHS will be closed on May 1 while Southlake police conduct their investigation.

Meanwhile, all other Carroll ISD campuses will operate as usual on Wednesday, with no disruptions to their schedules, as confirmed by district officials.
