Shakira receives sweet compliments from new beau Lucien Laviscount

Shakira’s new love interest, Lucien Laviscount, showered praises on his lady love in a new interview.

In conversation with US Weekly, the Emily in Paris actor said, “Shakira is one of the most incredible artists to ever grace the planet.”

Speaking of the Colombian singer’s successful music career, Lucien shared, “Her dedication to her craft, to her fans and her love for life is truly inspiring.”

The 31-year-old British actor further stated, “She’s one of the most beautiful, hard-working people I’ve ever met.”

For the unversed, Shakira and Lucien sparked romance rumours after the two filmed a steamy song, Puntería, for the singer’s new album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, (Women Don’t Cry Anymore).

The actor also opened up about his part in the song by saying he got the call while he was busy filming season 4 of Emily in Paris. 

He shared, “I remember getting the call saying that there was some interest in me being a part of the video.”

“I was shooting Emily in Paris at the time but we managed to figure out the dates and I was on the next flight out to Miami,” the actor recalled.

For the unversed, Shakira was previously in a relationship with football player Gerard Pique. However, they parted ways in June 2022 after the soccer star was allegedly accused of cheating on the singer.

The former couple shares two sons, Milan, 11, and Sasha, 9.
