Rolex thief pepper-sprays victim in Chase Bank parking lot, Allen Police say

Police in Collin County are seeking two suspects following an assault and theft during an online marketplace meetup.

The incident occurred at a Chase Bank parking lot in the 800 block of S. Allen Heights Drive in Allen. Officers responded to reports of a robbery around 4:46 p.m.

According to the Allen Police Department, the victim had arranged to sell a Rolex watch to an individual they met online. However, during the transaction, the suspect allegedly pepper-sprayed the seller, seized the watch, and fled the scene in a black Chevy Camaro with tinted windows, heading eastbound on Bethany Drive.

Authorities have released an image of one suspect described as an 18-20-year-old, 5’9” man with black hair, weighing 140 lbs. He was reportedly wearing a black suit jacket, white dress shirt, black pants, rimless glasses, and black dress shoes.

The second suspect is described as an 18-20-year-old Hispanic or possibly Middle Eastern male, who served as the getaway driver.
