Donald Trump to speak at annual NRA Convention in Dallas

Former U.S. President Donald J. Trump is slated to deliver the keynote address at the 2024 National Rifle Association of America (NRA) Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Dallas.

As announced by the NRA, Trump is scheduled to speak to members on Saturday, May 18 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. This appearance marks Trump’s ninth time addressing the NRA’s stage, highlighting his steadfast support for the NRA, the Second Amendment, and the enduring American tradition of firearm ownership.

According to the association, Trump first addressed NRA members in Nashville in 2015 and has consistently championed the NRA, the Second Amendment, and the right to self-defense since then. He reaffirmed his commitment to NRA members in 2016, pledging never to let them down.

NRA Interim Executive Vice President & CEO Andrew Arulanandam emphasized Trump’s resilience in standing up for American values despite facing relentless attacks.

The NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits feature three days of complimentary seminars, special events, and an expansive exhibit hall showcasing the latest firearms and outdoor gear from leading industry companies. It stands as the largest gathering of NRA members and Second Amendment supporters nationwide.

Randy Kozuch, Executive Director of NRA-ILA, hailed Trump’s participation in the event as a powerful testament to his ongoing dedication to constitutional freedoms and the NRA’s mission to safeguard and advance the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding Americans.
