Suspect hit victim’s car in unprovoked incident and then threatens him with gun, video shows

In Houston, a terrifying incident of road rage unfolded during rush hour traffic, captured on dashcam video, as one driver blocked another and brandished a gun, prompting a search by the Houston Police Department for the suspect.

The 66-year-old victim, who chose to remain anonymous for safety concerns, shared the video exclusively with . He described the incident, which occurred on Friday, March 3, around 5:30 p.m. on the connector ramp between SH-288 northbound and I-610 westbound, as unprovoked.

According to the victim, the situation escalated suddenly after a black BMW clipped his front passenger side, causing damage and obstructing his path. The driver of the BMW then emerged from his vehicle wielding a high-caliber pistol, threatening the victim’s life.

Despite the victim’s pleas and apologies, the assailant continued to menace him before eventually returning to his car. The victim immediately contacted the police, hoping that the dashcam footage, initially installed for protection in case of accidents, would aid in the apprehension of the dangerous individual.

Expressing his desire for justice, the victim emphasized the importance of holding the perpetrator accountable to prevent similar incidents in the future.
