AUSTIN, Texas — Presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke traveled across Texas on Saturday with campaign rallies in El Paso, Houston and Austin.

With the state capitol building as the backdrop, O’Rourke, speaking in both English and Spanish, campaigned on a wide range of issues, including universal healthcare, women’s choice, the end of the prohibition on marijuana and criminal justice reform

On its current trajectory, “our country will be a democracy in name only,” O’Rourke said.
