Body found in ditch had multiple stab wounds, Houston police say

A woman’s body was found Thursday morning with multiple stab wounds in a south Houston ditch, according to police.

The body was reported around 8:30 a.m. in the 14000 block of Hooper Road in the Almeda community.

Police identified multiple stab wounds on the body, according to a tweet from the department. The woman’s identity and official cause of death have not been released.
